Upper Respiratory

Upper Respiratory:  Upper Respiratory is composed of 100% therapeutic-grade essential oils including myrtle, pine, lavender, eucalyptus radiatta, eucalyptus globulas, cypress, black spruce, peppermint, and marjoram.

How to Use: For most effective relief, use in combination with Lower Respiratory. First night, rub diluted Upper Respiratory on chest and diluted Lower Respiratory on feet. Second night, alternate. Diffuse by adding 3-4 drops in GreenAir Scent Pod.

Primary benefits: While Upper Respiratory is not as powerful as Lower Respiratory against viral infections, the properties of the oils in this blend make it extremely effective against allergies, respiratory congestion, flu, cold sores, bone spurs, and mucus.

Myrtle:  is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiparasitic, antiseptic, astringent, expectorant, decongestant and deodorizer. Uses for myrtle are: Bronchitis, coughs, flu, hypothyroidism, insomnia, ovaries, prostate decongestant, sinus infection, tuberculosis, ureter infections.

Pine:   is antibacterial, antimicrobial, antineuralgic, antiseptic, antiviral, expectorant, and stimulant. It was used by the American Indians to prevent scurvy, repel lice and fleas, and to treat pneumonia and lung infections. Current day use includes colds, coughs, cuts, cystitis, fatigue, feet, flu, gout, lice, nervous exhaustion, scabies, skin parasites, sores, stress and urinary infection.

Lavender:  is anti-spasmodic, anti-infectious, and anti-inflammatory. Uses include: skin conditions, acne, rheumatism, tachycardia, mouth abscess, arthritis, insomnia, indigestion, phlebitis, nausea, flatulence, lowering blood pressure, fluid retention. It can help boost the elimination of waste through the lymphatic system, assist with pre-menstrual and menopausal problems, hair loss, dandruff, thrush, stretch marks, herpes, diaper rash, minimize scarring, ulcers, allergies, asthma, cankers, athlete’s foot, hay fever, bruises, boils, wounds, dermatitis, earache, boost immunity, wounds, and chronic fatigue syndrome. May assist with fainting, tonsillitis, eczema, headaches, cuts, moodiness, stings, insect bites, irritability, and hysteria. Eucalyptus Radiata: is antibacterial, anticatarrhal, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and an expectorant. Eucalyptus Radiata is used for: Congestion, emphysema, flu, pink eye, tuberculosis, acne, bronchitis, ear infection, hay fever, sinusitis, vaginitis.

Eucalyptus globus:  is an analgesic, antibacterial, anticatarrhal, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiviral, diuretic, expectorant, insect repellent, and stimulant.  Common uses include: asthma, bronchitis, carpal tunnel, cataracts, congestion, cooling, coughs, deodorant, dysentery, emphysema, fever, high blood pressure, hypoglycemia, inflammation, jet lag, kidney stones, measles, migraine, neuralgia, neuritis, pain, shingles, sinusitis, sore throat, spina bifida, stimulating, strep throat, tennis elbow, tuberculosis.

Peppermint brings quick relief to scratchy throats, unclogs sinuses, and acts as an expectorant to provide relief to colds, coughs, sinusitis, asthma, and bronchitis. It’s great for ADHD, it’s an anti-itch oil, fever reducer, natural bug repellent, acne treatment, sunburn relief, good for bloating and indigestion, colic, teething.

Marjoram:  is antibacteria, anti-infectious, antiseptic, antisexual, antispasmodic, arterial vasodilator, digestive stimulant, diuretic, expectorant, sedative, and tonic. Common uses include: Arthritis, carpal tunnel, colic, constipation, cramps (muscle), croup, high blood pressure, muscle fatigue, muscle spasms, muscular dystrophy, neuralgia, Parkinson’s disease, physical stress, whiplash.
